The time has come for our second annual Ride for the Fallen bike run to support wounded veterans. This year's event is in memory of CPO Richard Costelow of the US Navy. He is a local hero that was killed aboard the USS Cole. All proceeds from the day's activities will be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Registration will be held at our post in New Florence from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Cost is $20 per driver and $10 per rider. Cars are welcome to join in the day's activities as well.
Following the opening ceremony and dedication, participants will depart for a visit to Bushy Run Battlefield in Jeannette, PA. The return ride will include a dice run with 3 stops along the way.
All riders are expected to be back by 5:30 for supper, entertainment, and prizes.
Non-riders are welcome to join the participants after 6:30 for music and refreshments. Food will be served if available but is not guaranteed for non-riders.
